Our parent company, Eight-Japan Engineering Consultants Inc., is planned to participate in the 13th Asia-Pacific Landfill Symposium (APLAS) 2026 at Bandung as a sponsor and presenters during coming Nov 9th - 11th, 2026 in Bandung, Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB), Indonesia.

The Asia-Pacific Landfill Symposium (APLAS) is an international conference held every two years to discuss issues related to landfill management and waste management. This symposium plays a significant role in promoting sustainable solid waste management practices and landfill management in the Asia-Pacific region, where the demand for landfill space is rapidly increasing due to population growth and urbanization.

The symposium has been a major event in the region for over two decades since 2000, providing a platform for participants to explore the latest trends and technologies in landfill and waste management, discuss best practices, and share practical solutions to challenges faced. Previous symposiums have been held in various countries across the Asia-Pacific region, including Japan, China, South Korea, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Malaysia.
