2025.8.6
EJEC (Thailand) Co., Ltd., together with Eight-Japan Engineering Consultants Inc. (EJEC), exhibited at the "Seminar on Japanese Construction Technology in Thailand 2025" held in Bangkok, Thailand for two days on July 30th and 31st, 2025 (organized by the Advanced Construction Technology Center, supported by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Japan, the Embassy of Japan in Thailand, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Thailand Office, the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Bangkok Office, and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bangkok).
The seminar was held with the aim of introducing Japanese construction technologies and solutions to local stakeholders and promoting the exchange of information and interaction, and 13 companies, including Japanese road administrators, construction companies, construction consultants, and manufacturers, participated, presenting highly versatile technologies and new initiatives. A total of more than 200 people participated over the two days, including stakeholders from the Thai government, Bangkok Metropolitan Government, and local companies, and on the first day, the Japanese Ambassador to Thailand gave a speech.
From EJEC, Ms. Haruna Ito from Funnovate Lab, a new organization established in June 2025 to develop cutting-edge and innovative technologies across fields (robots, AI, RPA, systems, image analysis, communications, etc.) and to commercialize and provide services, gave a presentation titled "Development of a Digital System for Structural Data Management and Mapping."
In the poster session that followed, we exhibited our proprietary infrastructure asset information and document management system "inMap®*1," "360EDITOR*2," which creates 3D spaces using celestial images taken with a 360-degree camera, and our latest 3D planning visualization tool "Eye-Con360®*3," among other products, and engaged in a lively exchange of opinions with visitors. In an interview conducted as part of the session, Wiwat Sakunwanich of EJEC (Thailand) Co., Ltd., explained our technologies in Thai, providing an opportunity to deepen mutual understanding with the Thai participants.
In light of the growing need for information management and visualization technologies related to social infrastructure overseas, EJEC (Thailand) Co., Ltd. will continue to work with EJEC to strengthen the competitiveness of our company and the entire group and create new value through development by Funnovate Lab, as well as to expand our business into developing countries, including Thailand.
*inMap®:
A system that centrally manages vast amounts of digitized infrastructure data and location information, allowing free access to this data on electronic maps and offering excellent searchability.
*360EDITOR:
This system creates a 3D space by combining spherical photographs, allowing users to easily check the site on their PC like using Street View, and also allows users to attach and view various files (damage photos, inspection reports, etc.).
*Eye-Con360®:
This system overlays 3D data of structures onto 360-degree spherical photographs, enabling rapid decision-making by sharing realistic images in the early planning stages, and supporting the rapid development of countermeasures for disaster recovery, etc.
