On March 26, 2026, tunnel expert Mr. Teppei Tomita from Eight-Japan Engineering Consultants, together with the EJEC Thailand team, met with Mr. Wirot Lomvong, Director of the Prachinburi Highway District, at the Prachinburi Highway District Office. The meeting aimed to discuss and exchange views on maintenance guidelines for facilities within the wildlife corridor tunnel on Highway 304.
Mr. Tomita is a key expert in the technical cooperation project "Project for Capacity Development on Tunnel Project Management in Thailand" between the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Department of Highways (DOH). In addition to the meeting, the team conducted a site visit of the wildlife corridor tunnel to assess the initial condition and current usage of the facilities. Data from this inspection will be used to plan future operations in coordination with the Department of Highways.

EJEC Thailand would like to express its sincere gratitude to Mr. Wirot Lomvong, Director of the Prachinburi Highway District, for his valuable time and for personally participating in the site visit.
