Three Tourists Fall After Terrace Collapse in Zunyi, Guizhou Province, China

Three tourists fell after part of a terrace collapsed at a scenic site in Zunyi, Guizhou Province, China. The incident was recorded by a drone camera and later shared online.

According to reports, two men and one woman were standing near a railing and posing for a video when the ground beneath them suddenly gave way. The collapse happened because there was a cavity beneath the surface, causing a section of the terrace floor to break and sink.

One of the men was holding a small dog at the time. The dog managed to jump to safety by holding onto the railing just before the surface collapsed.

The three tourists fell a short distance into soft ground below. Reports say that no serious injuries were reported.

Guizhou Province is known for its mountainous landscape and complex ground conditions. In some areas, natural cavities may exist beneath the surface. When structures are built above such areas, proper ground checks and maintenance are important to ensure safety.
